The Power of No

Rich Zielke 4 years ago updated by Brian Everhart 4 years ago 5

I was listening to a podcast the other day that featured Chris Voss, an American businessman, author, and professor. Voss is a former FBI hostage negotiator, the CEO of The Black Swan Group Ltd, and co-author of the book, Never Split the Difference.

It was really interesting to hear him talk about the art of negotiating. Especially, when he discussed The Power of No.

I invite you to do a quick Google search on Chris Voss and see all the insightful articles that are out there on improving your negotiating skills. No matter what our job is, we are always selling...something.

Could you share the name of the Podcast that you were listening to? It sounds like a great one for the Podcast Club to listen to and discuss!

Thanks for sharing Rich.

The Professor heard a rumor that our new "PODCAST Club" may look at this as a future offering to highlight.

Also, the Professor thinks this would be great to bring to the attention of supervisors and other staff.

Thanks again and keep the submissions coming.

Just checked out the blog post you mentioned.  Not really what I was expecting it to be about based on the title, but that was a great read.  Love how things can be rephrased to help illicit a response.

Going to look into some of the other blog posts.

Thanks for sharing!!
