Lighting for Safety Places

Anita Scheidecker 5 years ago updated by Professor of Innovation 4 years ago 4

Equip all "safety places" with either a flashlight or a plug in light to be used during a power outage or drill (i.e. tornado).  Will make things a little less scary for our preschool students and program participants.

Good morning Anita.

Thank you very much for your great suggestion about having "safety lighting" options available at our locations in the case of power failure, etc.  We will definitely pass this along to the safety council for consideration.

Keep the great ideas coming.

This would be a qualifying expense under the IPRF Safety Grant :) - I coordinate that.

Anita, thank you for this wonderful suggestion. The Safety Council was able to use $275 of the IPRF Safety Grant to purchase these flashlights in November. I look forward to other great ideas from you!

Thanks to Anita for the great suggestion and to our Safety Council for working on the solution.

Another win for the Park District and its patrons thanks to Anita, the Safety Council and the Innovation Lab.

You should be seeing a Values Team member soon who will be presenting you with an A.T.O.M. Anita.

Keep the ideas coming.
