As We Grow facebook page

Is there anyway that we could have someone dedicated to keep the As We Grow pre-school facebook page current?  There are so many great things happening in the classrooms that the general public doesn't see.  It's also a great opportunity for families who are shopping around for a school for their kiddos.

Thanks, Marcee. We appreciate your Facebook enthusiasm. With the volume of program areas and program offerings the Park District has, it isn’t feasible to maintain a page for each one.

The Park District’s Facebook page is the best vehicle for sharing information and driving enrollments, and we welcome updates from all program areas across the District.

Marcee,

You are correct.  Preschool classrooms have very engaging activities going on. I will look into this with Krista.

Hello Marcee,

As We Grow Preschool does not have a Facebook page. Could you send the link to the page you are referring to? Perhaps there is some confusion or an unauthorized page.

We invite all departments to send content from their program areas to Marketing so we can post highlights on our Oswegoland Park District page (https://www.facebook.com/OswegolandParkDistrict). We have nearly 6,000 followers on this page and it is the best way to gain exposure for different programs and the District as a whole.

Hi Laura-

I don't know if you have looked yet, but there was a facebook page.  There were pictures posted from Sept of 2019, from the first day of school, but it has a lot of wrong info on it.  Not sure who set this up or when it was done.  So is it up to Krista to send pictures regarding the pre-school?  It would be nice to have a direct page to As We Grow as this is how a lot of families find out about our program, without sifting through the whole park district facebook page.  I used to work for another local school in the area and they do a really fantastic job with their social media accounts, and it does help drive some of their enrollment.  I know this would probably require extra paperwork regarding getting approval to post pictures/legal issues but in the end I think it would be worth it.  It's also nice just as a staff member to see what's happening in the other buildings as we don't get out much!!!
